Art Story

The artist describes this work as being about her childhood — uncolourful, almost brutal, landing in a place that was totally not for her. She recognises now there was purpose in it, but nevertheless it was a tough start that gave her the contrast for the rest of her life. The harsh environment became the foundation for everything that followed, teaching what home truly means by showing what it isn't.

Please note: Returns for change of mind are not accepted, as each product is custom-made to order.

Every Limited Edition print includes a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate carries Summer Jiang's signature, the edition number (e.g. 12 of 49), title, and date. The canvas itself is also signed on the verso in permanent ink for archival protection.

The certificate arrives sealed in a dark envelope, separate from the artwork.

Summer Jiang

Summer Jiang trained at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). A committed camper and hiker, she works in large-scale acrylic, translating the colour and movement of the Australian landscape into pieces built to hold a wall.
