Source the Art Image — for Printing & Framing with Us

$49

Reverse-image search of the studio's local archive — 5,000+ oversize works held offline, not online.

Send a reference image. We return matches as low-resolution preview files within 1–2 business days, for confirmation only — the print-ready file is not released.

To produce the final work, proceed with either Custom Canvas Print & Frame · Online or Custom Canvas Print & Frame · Quotation after the match is confirmed.

Fully refundable if no match is found. Partially refundable if only some of the requested images are sourced — refund is issued for the unsourced portion within 1 business day.

Image (JPG/PNG/HEIC) or PDF moodboard. Max ~20 MB. For multiple images, use a PDF or send one main reference and paste links to the rest in the description.

How it works

  1. If you can't find what you're looking for in our online catalogue, send your preferred reference image (or describe it). Source a single image or a bundle.
  2. We confirm within 1–2 business days whether the artwork is held in our archive. If not, the unsourced portion of your payment is refunded automatically.
  3. To produce the final work, proceed with Custom Canvas Print & Frame · Online or Custom Canvas Print & Frame · Quotation.
  4. Production runs around 3 weeks. Free insured Australia-wide delivery; international rolled freight quoted.

Common questions

  1. What does the $49 / $58 / $88 sourcing fee cover?

The fee pays for the reverse-image search through our offline studio archive (5,000+ oversize works), the visual matching, and delivery of low-resolution preview files for your confirmation. It does not include the printing or framing of the final artwork — that is a separate service.

  2. What's the difference between Exact match and Similar matches?

Exact match — use this when you've seen a specific artwork (Instagram, Pinterest, a hotel, an interior magazine) and want that exact piece identified in our archive. We search for the same work.

Similar matches — use this when you have a reference image but are open to visually related works in the same style, palette, or composition. We send the closest matches.

  3. How does the refund work?

If we can't find any of the requested matches → full refund within 1 business day, processed automatically to your original payment method.

If we find some but not all (e.g., you ordered the 3-pack and we sourced 2 of 3) → partial refund for the unsourced portion (in that example, one-third of $58 is refunded). All refunds within 1 business day.

  4. Why don't I receive the print-ready file?

The studio retains reproduction rights to its archive works. Sourcing identifies the artwork; production runs exclusively through Wall Liberation's printing & framing. This protects the artists' rights and guarantees that every reproduction is colour-managed and printed to studio standard.

  5. What do the preview files look like?

Low-resolution preview image — sufficient to confirm visual match, not sufficient for printing. The archive's print-ready files are held at 300 dpi at the target print size for professional-grade output when commissioned via our printing service. Higher-resolution preview for client presentation available for an additional fee on request.

  6. How long does sourcing take?

1–2 business days from order. Most requests complete within 24 hours. If a particular reference is hard to identify and we need to dig deeper, we'll email you with a status update before continuing.

  7. What if my reference image is low quality?

Low-resolution or heavily cropped references make exact-match identification harder. We still attempt the search. If the visual quality is too poor to identify, we'll either suggest switching to Similar matches mode or refund the search portion — your call.

  8. Can I customise the colour or layout of a sourced piece?

Yes. After the match is confirmed and you proceed to printing, add the Colour & Layout Editing service ($98 fixed) to swap up to 3 colours or adjust the layout/proportion before production.

  9. What sizes can the sourced artwork be printed at?

Sizes from 80 × 80 cm to 600 cm on the long edge as single-piece, or up to 6 metres as two-panel. Exact size + finish (rolled / stretched / oak-framed) is configured when you proceed with the printing service, where pricing is finalised.

  10. Are the archive works one-of-one, or can they be reproduced?

Both, depending on the work. Originals are one-of-one paintings. Limited editions are signed and numbered to a fixed run. Open editions can be produced repeatedly at the size you need. The artwork's edition status is confirmed in the preview reply alongside its pricing band.

  11. Do I have to commit to printing when I order sourcing?

No. The sourcing fee is for identification only. If after seeing the matches you decide not to proceed with printing, no further charge applies — the sourcing fee is non-refundable once the matches are delivered.

  12. Do you ship internationally after printing?

Yes — once the printed work is produced, rolled freight is available worldwide via specialist art carriers, quoted per destination. Australia-wide insured shipping is included in the printing service.
