About this Artwork
This work emerged from watching a son and dog follow their hearts without hesitation, existing as their truest selves. The canvas captures wild hearts mid-flight: fearless, authentic, unburdened. A figurative collage combining acrylic, ink and rice paper, the work renders mid-leap human and animal forms across a layered mineral landscape.
Visual Presence
Vivid and kinetic. Mineral pigments build the rocky terrain underfoot; collaged paper and ink edges remain visible — paint, paper and line operating together rather than smoothed into one surface. Strong vertical movement carries the eye upward; the colours range across blue, mauve, gold, green and earth tones.

Every Limited Edition print includes a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate carries Summer Jiang's signature, the edition number (e.g. 12 of 49), title, and date. The canvas itself is also signed on the verso in permanent ink for archival protection.
The certificate arrives sealed in a dark envelope, separate from the artwork.

Summer Jiang trained at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). A committed camper and hiker, she works in large-scale acrylic, translating the colour and movement of the Australian landscape into pieces built to hold a wall.
