This painting came from a time when I had done everything I knew how to do and the doing stopped meaning anything. The tree by the water was just standing there — finished. Not dying, not growing. Done. I recognised that feeling in my own body. The colours came out muted because the energy was not pushing anywhere. It was the quietest painting I ever made and the heaviest.Spatial Function

Every Limited Edition print includes a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate carries Summer Jiang's signature, the edition number (e.g. 12 of 49), title, and date. The canvas itself is also signed on the verso in permanent ink for archival protection.
The certificate arrives sealed in a dark envelope, separate from the artwork.

Summer Jiang trained at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). A committed camper and hiker, she works in large-scale acrylic, translating the colour and movement of the Australian landscape into pieces built to hold a wall.
Each limited edition print is produced from her original work using professional pigment inks— made to last.
