About this Artwork
What makes the heart pump is no longer the excitement of gains or losses. It is the recognition of being part of all — that actions and choices matter. The work emerged from being happy to take the responsibility of being here, and the recognition that being responsible is being free. A central purple heart form is held within a vertical field of yellow and green.
Visual Presence
Vertical and centred. A deep purple heart form anchors the centre of a radiant yellow-and-green field; flowing washes settle around it, with a faint hand-like form supporting the composition from below. The surface is layered acrylic, ink, and rice-paper collage finished with additional acrylic. The colour palette is bright but contained — granular yellow, soft green, mineral purple.

Every Limited Edition print includes a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate carries Summer Jiang's signature, the edition number (e.g. 12 of 49), title, and date. The canvas itself is also signed on the verso in permanent ink for archival protection.
The certificate arrives sealed in a dark envelope, separate from the artwork.
Summer Jiang
Summer Jiang trained at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). A committed camper and hiker, she works in large-scale acrylic, translating the colour and movement of the Australian landscape into pieces built to hold a wall.
Each limited edition print is produced from her original work using professional eco-solvent inks with UV protection — waterproof, scratch-resistant, and made to hold their colour through 10–20 years of indoor display.
