Green Plant Rhythms — Paul Klee
A large square Abstract canvas print in green and yellow. Its deep green calm and square, balanced format suit a boardroom, a library alcove or a wellness space where a grounded, restful presence is wanted.
Visual Presence
A dense field of greens — grass, olive and deep bottle-green — is banded and interrupted by curving ribbons of yellow and cool grey-blue. At the centre, hooked and crescent forms interlock like a stylised plant or standard, edged in warm ochre against near-black shadow. The surface is thickly worked and matte, the mood verdant, woven and quietly heraldic.
About the Art
In his final decade Paul Klee worked in bold, sign-like forms drawn with heavy contours, often on coarse supports that gave the paint a scarred, tactile grain. Plant and figure motifs dissolve into interlocking hooks, crescents and bands, so an image can read at once as a growing thing and as an invented emblem. A saturated green field threaded with ribbons around a knotted central form reflects that documented late manner, poised between nature and pure pattern.

Stretched Canvas Construction
Each canvas is mounted on 4.2 cm (1.65 in) deep stretcher bars made from Australian pine. The canvas is tightly stretched and wrapped around these solid wooden frames, giving it a strong, gallery-grade structure with noticeable depth — ideal for large or statement pieces.
This thickness adds durability and a clean, modern presentation, allowing the artwork to stand out beautifully without additional framing.
Edge Style
By default, all stretched canvases use a mirrored edge for a clean, continuous look. If you prefer a black or white edge, please mention it in your checkout notes; otherwise, the mirrored edge will be applied automatically.
For sizes exceeding 200x300 cm, we will split the canvas into two seamless panels to meet courier shipping limitations. The split is crafted to ensure the image remains continuous and flawless across both panels. You can choose to display the panels with or without a gap for different visual effects.
If you select the framed option, each panel will be framed separately to ensure secure shipping and easy handling.
Examples:
- A 240x300 cm artwork will be divided into two panels of 120x300 cm each.
- A 240x400 cm artwork will be split into two panels of 240x200 cm each.
This approach maintains the visual impact and flexibility of oversized pieces while accommodating shipping needs.
