Visual Presence

A soft green organic mass spills down the upper left like a hand of drips, answered by a vivid orange curving form that loops through the lower half. Between them a slim white triangle and a scatter of finely striped and speckled shapes hover over a warm cream ground. The palette is fresh and playful — green and orange leading, threaded with black hatching, aqua and small jewel-bright accents.

About the Art

This work belongs to the language of Kandinsky's final Paris years, after the Nazis closed the Bauhaus and he settled at Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1933. There his abstraction turned away from ruled geometry toward soft, biomorphic shapes drawn from the cellular and embryonic forms he studied in scientific plates, set on pale grounds in a lightened, pastel palette. The striped, dotted and membrane-like elements drifting across a warm cream field, led by green and orange, are characteristic of that late organic manner. The period and method are well documented; no specific record of this individual canvas was verified.

The frames are 1 cm wide and 5.5 cm deep, with a sleek 0.5 cm gap between the canvas and frame. This design adds 3 cm to the overall dimensions of the print, creating a refined and modern presentation.

Stretched Canvas Construction
Each canvas is mounted on 4 cm (1.57 in) deep stretcher bars made from Australian pine. The canvas is tightly stretched and wrapped around these solid wooden frames, giving it a strong, gallery-grade structure with noticeable depth — ideal for large or statement pieces.
This thickness adds durability and a clean, modern presentation, allowing the artwork to stand out beautifully without additional framing.

Edge Style
By default, all stretched canvases use a mirrored edge for a clean, continuous look. If you prefer a black or white edge, please mention it in your checkout notes; otherwise, the mirrored edge will be applied automatically.

For sizes exceeding 200x300 cm, we will split the canvas into two seamless panels to meet courier shipping limitations. The split is crafted to ensure the image remains continuous and flawless across both panels. You can choose to display the panels with or without a gap for different visual effects.

If you select the framed option, each panel will be framed separately to ensure secure shipping and easy handling.

Examples:

A 240x300 cm artwork will be divided into two panels of 120x300 cm each.
A 240x400 cm artwork will be split into two panels of 240x200 cm each.

This approach maintains the visual impact and flexibility of oversized pieces while accommodating shipping needs.
