Art Story

This painting came from a river where I stopped swimming against the current. The eucalyptus was enormous — it had been there longer than any decision I ever made. I sat in the water and felt the cost of every fight I had waged to get to this point. Becoming is not free. Everything I had been through was the price, and the river was the receipt.

Spatial Function

This work introduces depth and natural warmth into contemplative spaces. The vertical format and lush colour create an immersive quality suited to living rooms, reading spaces, or private offices where sustained attention and reflection are valued.

Every Limited Edition print includes a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate carries Summer Jiang's signature, the edition number (e.g. 12 of 49), title, and date. The canvas itself is also signed on the verso in permanent ink for archival protection.

The certificate arrives sealed in a dark envelope, separate from the artwork.

Summer Jiang

Summer Jiang trained at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). A committed camper and hiker, she works in large-scale acrylic, translating the colour and movement of the Australian landscape into pieces built to hold a wall.
