Presence

Square-format canvas. Acrylic mineral pigments in fluid, layered application. Vivid autumn foliage in orange, red, and green fills the upper half. Art Story

I stood in water and saw myself clearly for the first time. Not the version I had been told about, not the version I had performed. The real shape. It was smaller than I expected and more honest. I painted myself facing my own reflection because the model was finally complete — and I knew it would have to be lived, not just understood.

Spatial Function

This work creates a reflective focal point in square spaces. The vertical symmetry of figure and reflection generates a contemplative quality suited to personal offices, therapy rooms, or studies where self-inquiry and honest perception are part of the room's purpose.

Every Limited Edition print includes a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate carries Summer Jiang's signature, the edition number (e.g. 12 of 49), title, and date. The canvas itself is also signed on the verso in permanent ink for archival protection.

The certificate arrives sealed in a dark envelope, separate from the artwork.

Summer Jiang

Summer Jiang trained at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). A committed camper and hiker, she works in large-scale acrylic, translating the colour and movement of the Australian landscape into pieces built to hold a wall.

Each limited edition print is produced from her original work using professional pigment inks— made to last.
