I painted this in a place I kept coming back to — a creek in the bush where the water was warm and the light came through the trees in patches. I was drawn to it because it was the kind of place where you stop performing. Nobody there. Just the water and whatever you brought with you. I painted what I saw — a woman entering water she did not fully know. The hat was the last thing she was holding from the world she came from.Spatial Function

Every Limited Edition print includes a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate carries Summer Jiang's signature, the edition number (e.g. 12 of 49), title, and date. The canvas itself is also signed on the verso in permanent ink for archival protection.
The certificate arrives sealed in a dark envelope, separate from the artwork.

Summer Jiang trained at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). A committed camper and hiker, she works in large-scale acrylic, translating the colour and movement of the Australian landscape into pieces built to hold a wall.
Each limited edition print is produced from her original work using professional pigment inks— made to last.
