About the Art

Part of the Morning Light series, this piece comes from a sustained watercolour practice that strips painting down to pigment, water, and the moment they meet on the surface. The artist works wet-on-wet with minimal intervention — letting each gesture stain and bleed at its own pace, then leaving the result. The deliberate emptiness of the page is not a void but a counterweight: it gives the three colour zones their gravity.
