A large Expressionist canvas print in brown and orange. The burning orange hillside fields and the wide violet-brown road sweeping out of the frame give a hotel lobby, a boardroom or a dining room real depth, turning a flat wall into open country.
Visual Presence
Hung large, the orange and yellow fields throw a warm, lamp-like glow across the room, so the wall stays warm even under grey daylight. The curving road reads clearly from the far side of a space and pulls the eye toward it, which makes the piece work on a long wall people walk past. The single dark walking figure keeps the mood slow and quiet rather than busy.
About the Art

We chose it because it is the Munch few people know: no faces, no crowd, just a country road, a cluster of houses and one walker going away from us. The paint is oil, pushed on thin and fast, so the fields read as flat bands of orange and yellow and the road as one sweeping stroke - the same free handling as his figure paintings, used on open ground. It hangs in the Munch Museum in Oslo (MM.M.00336), from the body of work Munch left to the city when he died.

Stretched Canvas Construction
Each canvas is mounted on 4.2 cm (1.65 in) deep stretcher bars made from Australian pine. The canvas is tightly stretched and wrapped around these solid wooden frames, giving it a strong, gallery-grade structure with noticeable depth — ideal for large or statement pieces.
This thickness adds durability and a clean, modern presentation, allowing the artwork to stand out beautifully without additional framing.
Edge Style
By default, all stretched canvases use a mirrored edge for a clean, continuous look. If you prefer a black or white edge, please mention it in your checkout notes; otherwise, the mirrored edge will be applied automatically.
For sizes exceeding 200x300 cm, we will split the canvas into two seamless panels to meet courier shipping limitations. The split is crafted to ensure the image remains continuous and flawless across both panels. You can choose to display the panels with or without a gap for different visual effects.
If you select the framed option, each panel will be framed separately to ensure secure shipping and easy handling.
Examples:
- A 240x300 cm artwork will be divided into two panels of 120x300 cm each.
- A 240x400 cm artwork will be split into two panels of 240x200 cm each.
This approach maintains the visual impact and flexibility of oversized pieces while accommodating shipping needs.
