An oversized Abstract canvas print in blue and orange. The deep ultramarine ground takes most of the wall and the orange disc at its centre pulls the eye from the far side of the space, so an entryway, a hotel lobby or a reception wall reads as one turning colour wheel the moment somebody walks in.
Visual Presence
Hung two metres tall in an entryway, the ultramarine ground darkens and steadies the whole wall while the orange disc throws warm colour back down onto the floor, so a cold arrival space stops reading as a corridor. The grey, black and white bands run out to all four edges, which makes a narrow wall look wider and keeps the canvas turning instead of sitting still. From across the room it is two big circles and a sweep of curves; the thin green, pink and olive rings at the centre only separate out when you are standing in front of it.
About the Art
Robert Delaunay (1885–1941), Modern, painted 1938. Robert Delaunay (1885-1941), Orphism, painted 1938. We chose it because it is Delaunay working at true mural scale: over five metres of canvas, made as decoration for the Salon des Tuileries alongside Rythme n°1 and n°3, out of the muralism arguments then running in Paris. Colour carries the whole structure here — interlocking discs and half-discs, nothing described, nothing symbolic. The Musée d'art moderne de la Ville de Paris received it by donation in 1939 and holds it as AMVP 2575: oil on canvas, 538 by 396 centimetres. It was painted for a big wall in the first place.

Stretched Canvas Construction
Each canvas is mounted on 4.2 cm (1.65 in) deep stretcher bars made from Australian pine. The canvas is tightly stretched and wrapped around these solid wooden frames, giving it a strong, gallery-grade structure with noticeable depth — ideal for large or statement pieces.
This thickness adds durability and a clean, modern presentation, allowing the artwork to stand out beautifully without additional framing.
Edge Style
By default, all stretched canvases use a mirrored edge for a clean, continuous look. If you prefer a black or white edge, please mention it in your checkout notes; otherwise, the mirrored edge will be applied automatically.
For sizes exceeding 200x300 cm, we will split the canvas into two seamless panels to meet courier shipping limitations. The split is crafted to ensure the image remains continuous and flawless across both panels. You can choose to display the panels with or without a gap for different visual effects.
If you select the framed option, each panel will be framed separately to ensure secure shipping and easy handling.
Examples:
- A 240x300 cm artwork will be divided into two panels of 120x300 cm each.
- A 240x400 cm artwork will be split into two panels of 240x200 cm each.
This approach maintains the visual impact and flexibility of oversized pieces while accommodating shipping needs.
