An extra large landscape canvas print in orange and brown. Its warm terracotta glow opens the wall onto a sunlit southern hillside in a dining room, hotel lobby or stairwell.
Visual Presence
This print warms a room the way low sun warms a plaster wall — its terracotta and dusty pink throw a steady, ember-like glow. From across the room the detail dissolves and it reads as a single field of warm colour under a cream sky, closer to abstraction than landscape. It gives dining rooms, lobbies and stairwells warmth without demanding attention.
About the Art
Edgar Degas is remembered for dancers and racehorses, and that is exactly why we chose this sheet — one of his most surprising experiments. Estérel Village is a colour monotype, printer's ink worked directly on the plate, from a group of about sixty near-abstract landscapes made during a stay in the French countryside. The Cleveland Museum of Art notes that its blurred forms recall the views he watched slide past train and carriage windows. Layers of terracotta, green and brown hover on the bare paper, bordering on pure abstraction. The sheet was the fiftieth-anniversary gift of the Print Club of Cleveland.

Stretched Canvas Construction
Each canvas is mounted on 4.2 cm (1.65 in) deep stretcher bars made from Australian pine. The canvas is tightly stretched and wrapped around these solid wooden frames, giving it a strong, gallery-grade structure with noticeable depth — ideal for large or statement pieces.
This thickness adds durability and a clean, modern presentation, allowing the artwork to stand out beautifully without additional framing.
Edge Style
By default, all stretched canvases use a mirrored edge for a clean, continuous look. If you prefer a black or white edge, please mention it in your checkout notes; otherwise, the mirrored edge will be applied automatically.
For sizes exceeding 200x300 cm, we will split the canvas into two seamless panels to meet courier shipping limitations. The split is crafted to ensure the image remains continuous and flawless across both panels. You can choose to display the panels with or without a gap for different visual effects.
If you select the framed option, each panel will be framed separately to ensure secure shipping and easy handling.
Examples:
- A 240x300 cm artwork will be divided into two panels of 120x300 cm each.
- A 240x400 cm artwork will be split into two panels of 240x200 cm each.
This approach maintains the visual impact and flexibility of oversized pieces while accommodating shipping needs.
